Earthquake from Virginia USA is felt in Canada

just couldn't believe it.... sitting here listening to scanner and watching t.v. when all of a sudden my computer almost falls off table, the recliner rocking chair i'm sitting in starts moving... hmmm what was going thru my mind??? i thought someone was in the room with me until i realized nope he's upstairs getting ready for work and my puppy was outside so then i go upstairs and he says to me... ok so i wasn't the only one that felt it .... u did too... right away i turn the news on and sure enough.... came all the way from Virginia and was felt all over... UNBELIEVABLE.... share u'r opinions with me as i did with u.... WHAT DID U FEEL AND HOW DID U FEEL cuz i felt might weird after the fact but i'm ok now.. lol hope everyone is ok and can't wait to hear what others felt and experienced.... take the time to also click on the ads to see what else is available to u for u'r reading enjoyment.... thanx everyone xox <3

Man Stabbed on granville in Hamilton

30 yr old man was stabbed police told in chest but on arrival found be had been stabbed in his neck. they have no idea how yet but be was rushed to hospital with a lot of blood loss

2 year old falls 2 stories

a 2 year old baby crawled out onto the balcony and fell 2 stories at around 7am this morning. Thank God when police called in i could hear the baby crying. police say baby seems to be alright with a few abrasions and possible broken leg. I feel for the parents as it's been so hot out and last nite was nice and cool so of course windows and patio doors were open for fresh air. Who's to say the lock wasn't broke on the screen door of the balcony!! I just pray that this little one will be alright. If u'r going to comment, please don't be judgmental as of course none of us know the circumstances. Let's just say a prayer for the little one xox

One Thing I Can't Stand

why oh why do kids have to bully? just listening and there's a 15 year old that's been beat up and unconscious. Why do people have to be so mean? This isn't the first time hearing this on the police scanner either. Can't we ALL get along? If u don't like someone.... just stay away from that person is how i feel.... what's u'r feelings on this subject? would love to hear how people feel about bullying... i know this could raise a HUGE conversation but that's great cuz i'd love to hear how u all feel!!!

Girl either jumps or falls from escarpment

police and firemen are having a hard time getting to this girl who has either jumped or fallen from Ravenscliff escarpment. Firemen having to repell down to reach her. They can hardly get to her and have to travel by foot. The roads at the top of the hill are being closed off for a substantial amount of time due to extrication of girl. They sound so tired and it's so hot out that hopefully they will be able to reach her and not get dehydrated. I'm just hoping this girl fell and didn't decide to jump. Thank God for firemen and police who are there to help and the jobs they have to do sometimes are very excruciating. xox
